SINGLE HEAD THRU-FEED CENTERLESS MICROFINISHING SYSTEM

This type of machine is designed to Microfinish parts that are longer than 24" (600mm) that cannot be supported between centers. Feed rate is adjustable and diameters from 3/8" (9 mm) to 6" (150 mm) can be accomodated with very little time required for setup. The main base for this system is a modular design, thus permitting multiple systems to be bolted together for multi-stage microfinishing operations. PLC controls with touch-screen displays and the GEM Modem Interface are included on all GEM Microfinishing Systems.
