The Dual-Head design allows two different abrasives to be utilized on the same surface. The first abrasive can be used to remove grinder marks,  plating nodules or hard turning patterns. The second abrasive can be used to plateau the surface and/or reduce the surface finish. This system can accomodate surfaces up to 24" (600 mm) long and diameters up to 36" (900 mm). Any of the GEM Microfinishing Systems can be manually or automatically loaded and unloaded. PLC controls with touch-screen displays and the GEM Modem Interface are included on all GEM Microfinishing Systems.
